Putney Bridge, built in 1769. Walking down the street flanked by quaint shops, you wouldn't know it's a bridge!
Bath Abbey - where the first king of the English was crowned in 973. Notice the ladder structures on the flanking towers with angels climbing up and down, recalling Jacob's dream in Genesis 28.
And the beautiful interior of the Abbey.
One segment of The Circus by architect John Wood the Elder, constructed 1754 to 1768
And a few blocks away, by his son, John Wood the Younger, constructed 20 years later. Hard to capture such an elongated building! (Above by iphone panorama and below with my 14MM lens)
How the city got it's name - 2,000 years of history around thermal springs.
